• Start with questions about the Act (2nd) 
  • Impression of Desdemona? Why? 
  • How do Othello & Desdemona feel about each other?  How do you know

5. What are the most important lines in the scene? Why? 

• What is the context? 
• Why it is important (what does it show about the plot, characters, etc)? 
• How would you say it (what intonation) to show its importance?  Say it three different ways to and discuss how the intonation changes your reading of the lines.
