  • I can write THAMO (conjunctive adverb) sentences. 
  • I can flexibly uses strategies to derive meaning from a variety of print/non-print texts. Student evaluates the validity, reliability, and/or relevance of publications and authors as well as their evidence and reasoning.

  • Blog #5 due on Friday:  Write a two paragraph summary of the research you found on your stunt journalism topic.  Hyperlink to the original sources.

  • Write next to this text.  What does the poem mean?  What connections can you make between this poem and life? 
  • Is there a habit or reality of life that you would like to change?  What is one small change you could make that might make a difference in your life? 

5. Research for our topic
  • What is a reputable source? How can you tell? 
  • How can you tell if a source is biased? 
    • ​Begin research for your paper.  Use the evaluating sources tool for your sources.
