Goals: 

• I can explain what I notice about how a poem is written and develop some logical theories for WHY it is written that way. 
• I can identify correct and incorrect sentences and name and correct sentence errors. 
• I can create my own reading goals for the trimester. 
  

Announcements: 

• Read your book everyday this week for at least 15 minutes. 
• We will take a quiz on Friday over correct sentences and sentence errors.

• Make a "read" and a "to-read" list on the last pages of your Writer's Notebook. 
• Make 2 reading goals for yourself for this trimester.  You can use some from my list of options, or develop your own. 
• ​Do reading rate calculation  and write it under your goals.
