    • Using "the method" find a strong example that will help you support your thesis.  Try the 10 on 1 method to write a paragraph (s) developing that thesis.

Introduce the evidence succinctly (context) 
  • ​Why does this piece of evidence matter? 
  • How does this piece of evidence support or demonstrate my idea? 
  • What do I see in this evidence that I want my reader to see too? 
  • What is the effect of this evidence? 
  • How does this evidence confirm our expectations?
  • How does this evidence challenge our expectations?
